If you have been following us for any length of time you will be aware of our Resources Page where we try to capture media (mainly video clips and publications) relevant to the lives, health and wellbeing of older and old LGBT+ people. This clip just reinforces everything that we talk about, write about and incorporate into our Awareness Raising Training. There is no joy in keeping on about it but there is an imperative. Rita’s story is one in a long line and we are appreciative that she has been willing to share it. There is nothing quite like a story to push the message forwards that we have a way to go to be as inclusive as would like to be.
