Been thinking about making a Will or the ‘ins and outs’ of organising Lasting Power of Attorney?
It’s something we all need to get around to doing, but sometimes it feels too complicated. Maybe an informal chat with a legal specialist would help.
We are happy to announce the launch of a new service for the LGBT+ people of Shropshire. Edward Rees of Lanyon Bowdler will be offering free legal surgeries – initially on Zoom.
The first sessions are on Tuesday 18th January between 2pm and 4pm,
and then on every third Tuesday of the month
Some of you will remember Edward and Sophie from when they came to Afternoon Tea with SAND, our recent event at the Hive. It was nice to meet them and have a chat. They also took part in our Question and Answer session. It was great to have Edward there to tackle some of the questions from the audience about Wills.
The surgeries are free sessions where Edward or another expert from the Lanyon Bowdler Private Client team will be able to listen and discuss the issues that you bring. He will then be able to give you options for what you need to do next. As head of the private client department at Lanyon Bowdler his particular expertise is in Private Client law. This means Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Estate Planning, Inheritance Tax Planning and Care Fee planning. Anything else, he will listen and then pass you on to the right person for that subject.
We are now taking bookings for 20 minute appointments starting in January 2022.
Please contact james@lgbtsand.com or phone 01743 590023 to book your appointment.
LOCATION: on Zoom. (We hope to have some face-to-face sessions later in the year.
